The Basics
When and where is the wedding?
We are getting married at 2pm on Saturday 19th September. The ceremony and reception will be taking place at Storyhouse, Hunter St, Chester CH1 2AR
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive from 13:30 for the Ceremony. For the reception, please arrive from 18:30.
Is there parking available?
We would recommend New Market Parking in Chester, directly opposite Storyhouse.
What's the nearest train/tube station?
Storyhouse is a roughly 20 minute walk or 5 min drive from Chester Railway Station.
What is the dress code?
The dress code is 'Funky Formal'. We want people to be comfortable and feel able to be themselves at our wedding above all else, but please come dressed in typical formal wear e.g. a suit or dress but with bold patterns or colours or statement accessories.
Accommodation
Where do you recommend staying nearby?
We have an agreed rate with the Moxy Hotel Chester - check out the "places to stay" tab for details.
Are there good Airbnb/self-catering options?
There are lots of nice Airbnbs in Chester, but we recommend booking soon, as our wedding coincides with the final day of the season at Chester Races.

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be indoors.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes it is.
Can I bring a plus-one?
If your invite has specified a plus-one then yes, otherwise unfortunately we don't have capacity to offer everyone a plus-one but please ask and we will do our best to accommodate.
Food & Drink
Will dietary requirements be catered for, and how do I tell you mine?
Yes, dietaries can be catered for, let us know what you need when you RSVP.
Is there an open bar?
We are buying people a few drinks for straight after the ceremony and with our wedding breakfast. There will also be a cash bar.
